A Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) is a trained professional who provides expert care and guidance for families during the first few months after a baby is born, focusing on sleep training, feeding routines, and infant development.
A Night Nanny, on the other hand, offers overnight care, helping families by tending to the baby's needs throughout the night, allowing parents to rest.
Both roles are essential for supporting new parents, with the NCS offering specialized newborn knowledge and the Night Nanny focusing on nighttime support.

Post-Partum Doula Care
part-time OR Full-time
Typically 2 to 4 month contract
$35-65/hr+, depending on experience
Flat Rate Placement Fee
$1,800
A Postpartum Doula provides essential support to families after the birth of a baby, focusing on helping parents adjust to life with a newborn. They offer guidance on infant care, breastfeeding, and recovery while also providing emotional support and practical help around the home. A postpartum doula ensures parents feel confident and well-supported during this important transition.
What You Need to Know:
Due to the specialized nature of this service, NCSs and Doulas typically are booked in advance. We recommend finding your carer 3 months into your pregnancy or as soon as you know you are interested. If you have already given birth we cannot guarantee availability, but we still recommend reaching out.
Since you'll hire and create a plan with your carer well in advance, and these specialists are difficult to find on short notice, no replacement guarantee is offered.
Newborn services are typically contracted directly between the family and the carer as they are generally considered 1099 independent contractors, however, some carers prefer a W2. Rates and terms of hire will be negotiated between the family and the NCS or Doula–but we'll be here to support you every step of the way.
