Whether it’s an evening out, an event, or just a few hours to yourself, we’ll match you with a qualified babysitter you can trust.

Our monthly Babysitting Club membership gives you access to quality screened babysitters across Austin and surrounding areas through our secure easy-to-use online portal.
Sick care fee: +$5 / booking
National holiday care fee: +$15 / booking
Urgent care fee (within 24 hrs): +$5 / booking
Little Steps & Growing Steps Plans: Reduced rate for additional bookings @ $20 per sit (save $10)

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

There's a 3-hour booking minimum for babysitting.

Booking rates are paid directly to Baby Steps Nanny Agency through our online payment system and you'll pay the hourly rate directly to the babysitter providing childcare.

Sitter Rates
TIER 1 SITTER
$20 / hr
Child age: 6 months +

Sitter Experience:
1 + years general childcare and babysitting
Overnight rate (10pm to 6am)*
For children who don’t wake at night: $120 flat rate
For children who wake at night or are under 1 year old: $25/hr
*Base hourly rate applies outside of these hours.
TIER 2 SITTER
$25 / hr
Child age: 6 months +

Sitter Experience:
2+ years as a professional nanny/carer​
Overnight rate (10pm to 6am)*
For children who don’t wake at night: $160 flat rate
For children who wake at night or are under 1 year old: $30/hr
*Base hourly rate applies outside of these hours.
TIER 3 SITTER
$30 / hr
Child age: Newborn +​

Sitter Experience:
5+ years as a professional nanny/carer or is certified in newborn/specialized care
Overnight rate (10pm to 6am)*
For children who don’t wake at night: $200 flat rate
For children who wake at night or are under 1 year old: $35/hr
*Base hourly rate applies outside of these hours.
